Horrible agency! I've had 40 years of experience working with State Farm in various capacities and I can tell you the Bob Parent Agency has been the absolute worse to reach and deal with. When you call, you will never have a live person answer the phone; it's a menu you have to wade through and if you are lucky, they will call you back but don't count on it being the same day! As of February 6, 2021 State Farm Web page is still showing my home owners insurance payment past due in the amount of $2,947.59 and this was paid on January 29, 2021. I have talked to State Farm several times about this issue and no one seems to care about fixing the problem. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE! If you are looking for insurance I suggest you look elsewhere!
Never in my life have I been more disgusted with an insurance agency then with State Farm. I added a non daily driver, and they jacked up the rate by nearly $100. They also ran a credit check without permission. The ads about caring, all lies. They only care about stealing your money and not about helping you.

They do NOT pay or cover anything if you are riding in a car, and get shot. This occurred in Nov 2020. Charlottte, NC ROAD RAGE is happening a lot!! My son was a passenger in a car with full coverage. He was shot twice, and State Farm didn't pay for any medical bills! They didn't pay for anything. They also hindered the investigation, because they didn't require the car (insured by them) to be inspected by the Police or Detective, before having all the blood cleaned up and the repairs done. State Farm is the worst, their customer hit my son at a controlled intersection, and got a citation and fine of failing to yield, while making a right turn out of the gas station. We both have liability, but he hit my son, and the police report even shows the diagram of how he hit my son. My son called the police too. They are claiming that it's not their fault and they aren't going to pay. They also had two aggressive women claim they already had the police report, when I haven't even received it yet. Starting from the beginning. I have had an auto policy w/ State Farm since 2006 with the same agent. I have only had 2 auto claims in that time frame. One was an accident with a deer and the other was vandalism thanks to some drunk idiots fighting in the parking lot. State farm is not a good neighbor. claim for home damage rain and hail denied with four leaks in the house roofs . They said that they see no damage .

I'm going back to Allstate. State farm has shown their true colors when dealing with an accident with both parties having State farm insurance. Glad to know that what State farm truly cares about it is its executive teams bonus plan.
Have had my home owners policy for 4 years and auto policy for about 7 years. Never had a claim. I was informed by 2 different roofing companies that I need a new roof due to the wind/ hail storm this year. I was told by both companies that state farm almost never approves a roof and they where right. The contractors suggested switching to a different insurance company, think I will. Cheap rates but why have insurance if you can't use it. Feels like I'm throwing money away.
