State Farm claims to have its customers in its best interest but with my recent experience I think not. I made a claim for flood damage in may 28th get my car to a shop shot does it job now it’s time for the estimator from start farm to do his. While the initial process offered great customer service I later learned that this company was not all that it seemed. Contrary to its claims it is not a life insurance company for all but rather some that fit its subjective parameters. I was interested in obtaining life insurance with this company and am currently in my late 20’s. I later found out as a result of my height and weight I was not insurable. When my parents became elderly, I moved back in with them. My dad convinced me to drop my wonderful insurance with ****because they would cover me under their state farm insurance which they have had for decades. They told me State Farm had never let them down. A few days later I’m in a bad part of *******at 3 AM and I get a flat. My husband and I have been with State Farm for more than 10 years for both cars and house insurance. We always pay both cars and house insurance 6 months in advanced and have never late on any bills. We barely claim for either cars accident or house damage. We want to keep our records clean, so our rate won’t go up. This past year we moved from a house to apartment and now with my MIL. Sure hope that site notifies me when it's not required to leave an underserved star. State Farm sure is an amazing insurance company, they collect payments on time every month for years, nothing like filing a claim and them wasting as much of my time humanly possible, it's not personal, just business I guess. To speak to 10+ people and finally speak to one that says "there is no note in here to speak to a manager". i am not happy with the way i have been treated by agents that work for this company. My son was in an accident and the State Farm Claims Department have been the one's in charge of the claim. However, every time i have talked to an agent i am made to be felt like a criminal and i am not the person that caused the accident. I should be compensated for what happened without feeling like i did something wrong i was the victim. I have had Insurance with State Farm for years and have never filed a claim. Last year , I made my first claim ever regarding my stolen lap top . I was given a few hundred dollars towards a new laptop. When my Insurance came up for renewal, I was dropped !!!! I guess State a farm will give you Insurance , but you are never allowed to make a claim. If you do? They will drop you !! This should be against the law !

I had been a customer of State Farm for 17 plus years and never filed a claim. My car was hit while parked outside my house. I decided to get the ball rolling, I would start the claim with my own insurance thinking they would take care of me. After 43 days of waiting, going back and forth with rude claims specialists and being told lies, I was finally told my car was a total loss (after 43 days!) I would leave zero stars, if I could. A State Farm customer hit my parked car and didn't report it. I had to sit and look at HOURS of video to find out who did it. He wouldn't file the claim so I had to do it. I included the pictures, police report and everything. After they told me they just needed one more picture of measurement ground to damage, I took them and submitted them.
