Try the Cheeseburger - With the works (onions and tomato). This is a strange burger, but it happens to be delicious.
One of the best lunch joints in New Haven. Rustic and friendly. Cannot go wrong
Do not ask for lettuce,mayo, or ketchup ! The sign hanging tells you what they offer. That's it & that's all...lol.
Best place for lunch around, but be sure to have cash!!
It figures, I'm finally in New Haven. I heard about it and wanted to try it, but they are closed in August! :-(
I was told not to ask for ketchup, so don't ask for ketchup at this place. The burgers were good not the best in the town but good.
Overrated... The burger was pretty boring. I get that this was where "the first burger" was made which is pretty cool but that's about it... Nothing exciting.
