Never tee off Unfortunately I was unable to play the course due to the course running out of rental clubs. Had high hopes to play the course on vacation and on my birthday but no luck. Maybe next time am in Florida next year I can try and play

Not worth the price Average course and extremely slow play made for a less than enjoyable experience. Greens fees to high for this level of course. I've played the East and it's better but for the price look elsewhere.

One of the best managed courses in the area Why is this important? because it affects everything else that is important when playing golf: course conditions, managing tee times, getting golfers off, pace of play, equipment in good condittion, etc. I think this is too often overlooked. There are many nice courses around but when they are poorly managed, a simple thing like enforcing pace of play, it can ruin the experience. Don't know what the attraction is... Based upon the reviews I read and 4.5 star rating, I expected much more. While the course was in good condition it didn't compare to high quality private courses. If you're looking for a good public course, Jacaranda qualifies as one; but it's not a 4.5 out of 5 stars course.

Nightmare Round... We waited out a freakish rainstorm and then agreed to play a full round after looking at the radar and discussing the weather forecast with the staff. According to the staff we should have no trouble getting in a round of 18. We were prepared to move quickly but no sooner did we get on the first tee and the skies opened up. will play again Many good reviews sent me there. Course was as good as I had heard. Pace of play was miserable, however. Twosome and threesome ahead of our threesome were out for a "Sunday drive". Refused to speed up at all. I will play it again because of the course itself.

Great course, but don't overpay. I live in the area and play here about once a month. The East Course is more playable and forgiving than the West. The greens hold better on the East due to their shape and size. Course conditions are excellent - the best in the area by far, similar to Plantation Preserve which is about 2 miles east on Broward - on both the East and West. Very slow play No Marshalls to tell very slow golfers to move faster. A lot of verbiage on the issue (slow play to be avided) on the scorecard or in the cart but nothing is done about it. Management should look into this in a serious manner
