Best dr ever saved my dads eye I. A very difficult issue with his eye
In the waiting room I talked to many in with me. Some have been going to Dr. Dyer for over 20 years and all I heard from them was positive comments. Staff was very professional and great mannerism to the questions asked. The answers straight forward or passed on to Dr Dyer to answer. When Dr. Dyer was in my room he explained everything in plan speech and listened to what I had to say. With that I understand the process of what was being done to fix my detachment procedure. Thank you Dr. Dyer
He's been my doctor for over 20 years and I have always been very pleased with his work. He's very much in demand so sometimes time can be an issue but well worth it
He was condescending to me, did not listen to what the problem was that was being experienced, did not try to solve the specific vision issue, just gave a rote speech. Very poor bedside manner, expressed no empathy or concern, just said everything I was experiencing with my vision was just to be expected. Did do a competent review of my retina, which turned out to not be the source of my problem. Made comments about my vision and disease that were incorrect. Staff nice, Fox is not. Rushes. Hurries. Impatient. I thought the other patients in the waiting room were exaggerxating; they were not. Doesn’t listen to critical information; doesn’t seem to care if he harms or hurts. After 1 appointment got up and never went back. Refuted charges.
Dr. Fox has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have come into contact with. Although a prestigious and able specialist, he often refuses to explain or answer questions without repeated reminders. He leaves immediately after injections and during lasers, he doesn't monitor my pain. I would not recommend him unless you have a condition that absolutely cannot be treated elsewhere.
Dr. Fox's steroid injections in my eye caused optical nerve damage, glaucoma and lost vision. This has been confirmed by prestigious local doctors. He discovered it then hurried me out of his office and referred me to another doctor to get rid of me. He wouldn't take responsibility for it.
Would not send my dog to this guy I had a very serious eye issue was referred by my eye dr to him and needed surgery to correct the problem. Dr Cooper would not agree to use a antibiotic that I was NOT allergic to as a preventative measure before and after surgery. Needless to say I went elsewhere. He spent maybe 10 minutes with me. Took 3 days to get antibiotic answer
I would not. He is just an eyeglass salesman and too proud to admit when he's misdiagnosed you.
