Commonwealth Roofing replaced our roof at our main office in ****** **several years ago and did a wonderful job. Excellent pricing, timely service, great workmanship, and the crew kept our parking lot clean of debris and nails during the project. I am reviewing them now due to Ryan and his team's priority to provide service after the sale. This is the mark of a business I would recommend to anyone. Ryan and his crew did a great job! We are proud to have hired a veteran owned company since my dad was a veteran which is the reason we chose them over all other companies and after meeting Ryan we were impressed with him and trustworthiness to follow through to see that job was done right and to our satisfaction.
Top Notch professional group! Ryan & his team went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied with the replacement of my roof in Roanoke, after windstorm & rain damage from Hurricane Helene... His team started & finished the job in 1 day. cleaned up after themselves, leaving no trace of their worksite materials on my property! And all at a very reasonable price!!! The CEO of the company went above and beyond for us from the initial phone call to the completion of the work. I would give this company 10 stars if it was possible. Received the proposal the same day as the site visit. Work was completed a few days later. I will always refer anyone looking for a roof to Commonwealth. Happy to see that honest good companies still exist.

I had a squirrel infestation. The critters were getting in at the returns of my 130-year-old farmhouse. At night, I heard them chewing, chewing, chewing. It took a while for them to get started. However, once started they covered all the fascia, soffit, and frieze board on both the upper level and around all the porches in only two days. Both Chad and all the workers were very pleasant. The owner, Bob Long, was very easy to talk with. Even on some of the more technical aspects of a replacing a commercial roof. He delivered a great roof at 30% less than the other ‘big name’ roofers in the Roanoke area. Would definitely recommend Commonwealth and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again
We had our house and 3-bay garage roof replaced at the same time. The install went well. They even had to replace some wood and rebuild the ends of some trusses. It was finished in one day as predicted. The roofs look great. I do have one complaint. The clean-up afterwards left some to be desired. The major pieces were cleaned up - ie shingles and wood pieces. What was not cleaned to satisfaction was the roofing nails from the roof. I ended up having to accomplish that myself.
