I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother is at Abbey Park at Mill River. It seems like a nice place. The tenants seem very friendly and welcomed her in, and they have doctors who come in every week. Her apartment is beautiful, large, and has all the accommodations that you want, like beautiful cabinets, plenty of closets, a balcony, and a little courtyard in front of her apartment since she's on the ground floor. I visited this facility I think Abbey Park is a great place. I liked the big, wide, open hallways, you don't feel cramped, and it makes it easy for people to exercise and walk around. Each apartment had nice, big porches to go out on. It is very large, there were some residents sitting around, but most people stayed in their units. The staff seemed more isolated from the residents and I got the impression that they just want to get their job done, but the ones in the offices are fine. I visited this facility Abbey Park is a very attractive and elite place. It’s more like a hotel than an institutional retirement home. It’s in a very good area. The food is mediocre. They have music concerts there, go to the local markets, watch movies, and do crafts.

I visited this facility Abbey Park at Mill River was very nice and seemed adequate. The staff was very friendly. As far as assisted living goes, it was complete. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.

I visited this facility Facility wise, Abbey Park at Mill River looked really nice. We went into the rooms and the dining room, and they were nice. The turn off there was the staff. They were a little bit bothered that we were there. To be fair, I didn't schedule a tour with them. I just showed up on two or three different occasions and asked if I could see some things. I was annoying them, but I had done that at other places and every other place was absolutely willing to show us and do whatever they could to be helpful as ... read more

I am a friend or relative of resident Management does a great job not only keeping the facility looking nice, but is also caring and compassionate for the residents.
