First and last visit. I loved the idea of eating outdoors, the terrace is perfect for this hot weather and is much better than the interior of the restaurant. Now regarding the food, the presentation was good, the portions too, but the prices are a little high for the quality of the food. We ordered the salmon with vegetables and fries which had no flavor. The atmosphere was very chill with a singer playing George Strait songs. One of the best places to have American fare in Carlsbad. We tried the cheese platter, chicken Alfredo pasta and Brussels sprouts salad. Both of them are must try and the noise level was very low. Overall a good experience.
“Exceeds Expectations!” When I was looking at the website beforehand, I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as the food and service went. I could tell that the restaurant was beautifully alluring from the outside. When I saw that they had a vegan and vegetarian menu along with their regular menu, I couldn’t resist. Very neat little place, food was fantastic and so was our server Jace. Will be back for sure. We ordered the calamari appetizer, chicken parm, tuscan spicy chicken pasta, cajun bacon farfalle, and chicken strips off the kid menu. We went for my sons birthday, he was offered a free kids dessert as well and picked ice cream.
Wow! Flavors galore! We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer, split a ribeye with mashed potatoes, and creme brulée. So flavorful and well plated. And I have to brag about our service from Jenn! She's a joy and great server! She didn't try to push out closing time, insisting the dessert would not be the same to go.
