We love this restaurant! Whenever we visit Carlsbad it is not unusual that we eat here for more than one meal. The portions are not only filling, they are delicious. They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner and every item on the menu is great. We prefer to sit out in the patio when we dine here and love the relaxing outdoor atmosphere. Recommended if visiting Carlsbad. Excellent food and service. Restaurant had a very nice vibe to it. It was definitely one of the best restaurants we ate during our road trip around new mexico during holidays. Loved the food which was perfectly cooked , hot and yummy. Even my child loved it who is usually a picky eater.
Among the limited selection of quality dining options in Carlsbad, this restaurant stands out. We were warmly welcomed by the charming Christmas decorations at the entrance. Our party of seven was seated swiftly, and the food followed shortly after. The steak was truly outstanding, elevated by the unexpected yet delightful gravy. The meatloaf and shrimp were also noteworthy.
Pasta was great. Lots of flavor. We sat inside, and it was difficult to hear each other for conversation, we would have sat outside, but the wind was too much. The hostess and wait staff was excellent. We arrived right at 5 pm and had no wait. The bar area is small, but the fireplace is cute and inviting. We definitely go back again and hopefully sit outside. The portion sizes are generous, and the presentation is pleasant. The prices are very reasonable compared to other places in the area we have dined at.
