Gina was awesome! We arrived on a Monday at 6:15pm and saw tons of folks waiting in their vehicles and the vestibule of the restaurant was packed - 30 min wait for two. But when I tired to call and make a reservation earlier, no one answered. Pro tip: the bar is first come first served and so we sat right away. The good: the chicken cordon bleu was everything you want in the dish - super crispy chicken with great melty cheese and a nice slice of ham. We had such a great experience here! The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were so nice about our service dog and even offered her some water, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the patio where we sat was beautiful. We didn’t enjoy the desserts as much, but everything else was amazing! We totally recommend this place, great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere.
We enjoyed lunch on the patio with our dog, they brought her a bowl of water, and our service was wonderful. We ordered the chips with salsa and queso and it was delicious. I had the roasted pear with steak and goat cheese (instead of feta) and it was really good. Came here hungry after doing the McKittrick Canyon Trail at Guadalupe. I ordered their sashimi tuna and 16oz ribeye steak. The tuna was not the freshest I’ve had but it was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and paired well with the balsamic sauce. Portion was generous and staff are nice. This is a solid place.
My son and I we’re visiting Carlsbad caverns and decided to find a restaurant close by. It’s roughly 25 minutes from Carlsbad Caverns. I ordered the Garlic shrimp pasta and my son ordered the fish and chips. Most of all the garlic shrimp was cooked to perfection. I love that they still kept the shell on to be able to enjoy all the juices from the shell. The pasta was cooked al dente which is my preference.
