My son and I we’re visiting Carlsbad caverns and decided to find a restaurant close by. It’s roughly 25 minutes from Carlsbad Caverns. I ordered the Garlic shrimp pasta and my son ordered the fish and chips. Most of all the garlic shrimp was cooked to perfection. I love that they still kept the shell on to be able to enjoy all the juices from the shell. The pasta was cooked al dente which is my preference. We had such a great experience here! The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were so nice about our service dog and even offered her some water, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the patio where we sat was beautiful. We didn’t enjoy the desserts as much, but everything else was amazing! We totally recommend this place, great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere.
We enjoyed lunch on the patio with our dog, they brought her a bowl of water, and our service was wonderful. We ordered the chips with salsa and queso and it was delicious. I had the roasted pear with steak and goat cheese (instead of feta) and it was really good. This place is my favorite in Carlsbad! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is amazing. This place was the only place out of three places that didn’t turn me away because it was 40 minutes before closing. And this happened multiple occasions. Working late hours and then being turned away from dinner was not fun, but this place is always there for you! I would ask if they were still serving people and they would instantly welcome me! We came for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was delicious. The gravy is bacon gravy, and it's outa the park delicious. Highly recommend this place.
