Very nice furniture store, and nothing like it close by. What earned my business from now on is the customer service. They quickly put me in the right direction, got me checked out, and loaded up in about 30 minutes. Smooth easy transaction with a hometown family welcoming environment. Very professional, polite and helpful. Everyone from the floor to the warehouse were helpful and well mannered. A fine example of what customer service should be.
Our shopping experience with Wood’s Mercantile was absolutely amazing! We recently purchased a cabin in nearby Clayton, and asked at our closing if anyone could recommend a furniture store nearby. Since this was a second home, we were truly starting from the ground up. Our wonderful Lender Shane Burns wholeheartedly recommended Wood’s Mercantile. Honestly I had not been inside Wood's in years but I went in today looking for a new recliner, I was asked immediately if I was looking for anything in particular and of course I said yes a recliner, so many to choose from, the sales person that helped me had not been there long, she was still in training but did a great job!! So Many Beautiful Pieces of Furniture There!! I Will Go Back!!!
A wonderful lady named Shirley Jones helped us choose a lift chair! She was knowledgeable and let me play with all the buttons on all the chairs and find the perfect one for me! She was very kind and understanding of my needs and helped me so much. I know I got the right one for me!
Lucy did a wonderful job on getting our order together. We had been in the store in early October and she had notes from that visit when we returned in late December. Lucy put together the 3 item order, estimated when it would be arriving from USA factory and approximately delivered to our home in NC.
