We are so relieved to have brought our daughter to Dr. Peterson for evaluation for her tongue and lip ties. All staff members were so kind, reassuring and supportive. We had our daughter’s tongue and lip ties released at WTTI and it was an incredibly positive experience! Additionally, my husband and I met with one of the lactation consultants for a prenatal visit before our daughter was born to help us gain as much knowledge as possible about breastfeeding. Being able to ask all of our questions allowed this visit to be very individualized and superior to our hospital breastfeeding class. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We felt so well-taken care of and supported. It’s hard enough when you are struggling to breastfeed and find out your infant may need revisions. You don’t want to struggle to find the right provider. The Wisconsin Tongue Tie Institute was the perfect recommendation. They provided the most thorough exams before they made their recommendation with no pressure. And they are helping us with the follow-up lactation appointments now afterwards. They were able to get me in quickly to be seen. I had some concern with my new son that he may have a marginal tie just due to the breastfeeding issues. Anne the lactation person was super nice and friendly as well as the Doctor. They determined that an upper lip release would be best and gave us all the information needed. There was no pressure to have it done but we elected to have it done to hopefully help with feeding and getting rid of the nipple shield. Overall a great experience

Both of my kids needed lip and tongue ties released. They were soo kind and understanding. Very knowledgeable. They brought in other specialists to make sure all issues were addressed, speech therapist and breastfeeding councilors, they really care about what's best for your child.
