This is a great little campground. I stayed here few times in the early 2000’s, and even then it was already an “established” (older) campground. I was surprised after 20 years away, it is still really well maintained. The bathrooms are spotless (though older), and the pool was crystal clear. The grounds are well kept and the signage is clear to understand as you navigate the grounds. I’ve only ever moto-camped here, but it’s always been a good experience. I’ll definitely be back.
Enjoyed our stay! We took our kids for a two-night tent trip. The tent sites were small, shaded, and fairly close to the playground/bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The other campers were also welcoming. Clean bathrooms and the kids loved playing on the playground. Not too many bugs where we were located. Friendly, helpful staff that treat you like family. Our campsite was level and shaded. The hook-ups were very accessible. The roads through the campground are nice for biking or walking. Cell a nd internet service is excellent for being a mountainous area. We have stayed here several years and it has become our home away from home.
We’re have been in this area for my husbands work several times. Waynesboro 340 is a great park to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s maintained well and safe. We would definitely stay again when in the area.
Had a great 3 night stay at Waynesboro 340 North. Campground and restrooms in great shape. I was lucky enough to have some unoccupied sites around me and did not feel crowded. Was very convenient to the local area, great hiking trails, bike riding, breweries, etc. I typically don't stay at private campgrounds but this was a nice stay.
