Enjoyed our stay! We took our kids for a two-night tent trip. The tent sites were small, shaded, and fairly close to the playground/bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The other campers were also welcoming. Clean bathrooms and the kids loved playing on the playground. Not too many bugs where we were located. This is a great little campground. I stayed here few times in the early 2000’s, and even then it was already an “established” (older) campground. I was surprised after 20 years away, it is still really well maintained. The bathrooms are spotless (though older), and the pool was crystal clear. The grounds are well kept and the signage is clear to understand as you navigate the grounds. I’ve only ever moto-camped here, but it’s always been a good experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Great site. Had an overnight of moto tent camping here before starting on the blue ridge Parkway and it was very smooth and pleasant. Well-shaded tent spots, hot showers, complimentary coffee, nearby gas and meals in town, the office even had a little wagon to haul wood to and from your site. All other campers were quiet and respectful.

The family and I spent the weekend at North 340 Campground. It was spectacular! The staff is always friendly, the grounds are maintained, the bath rooms/showers were kept clean (no matter the hour of use) and the welcoming atmosphere is second to none! We're looking forward to our next visit.

Friendly, helpful staff that treat you like family. Our campsite was level and shaded. The hook-ups were very accessible. The roads through the campground are nice for biking or walking. Cell a nd internet service is excellent for being a mountainous area. We have stayed here several years and it has become our home away from home.
