I had an emergency appointment at Warshauer & Santamaria Dental Monday May 12th. From the moment I walked in the staff were kind and accommodating. Ben, Dr Santamaria’s assistant was a true gem explaining things to me and making me less stressed. Dr Santamaria was just delightful! After inspection of my teeth, she explained the type of treatment I needed in a way that I would understand and it made me feel at ease. Felt very predatory. Said I need a filling while showing me four month old x rays. I asked if we could take more up to date X-rays before deciding and Dr. Santamaria said X-rays are very difficult. At that point, I turned to the X-ray machine and said isn’t it right there. And she said okay we can push off the filling. Felt like they were taking advantage of me as a young student. One star because they were unable or unwilling to help me remove just the top of a broken tooth and leave the rest for later implants... They basically told me no that they would not remove the broken shard that the whole tooth had to come out and that didn't work for my plans so I could not stay They might work for other people just not me
Dr. Santamaria is nothing short of impeccable, thoughtful, and courteous. I have never had a better dentist in my entire life. The quality of care that I receive at Warshauer & Santamaria is unparalleled. For as long as I live in the Boston area, I will only be seeing Dr. Santamaria. Not only is Dr. Santamaria wonderful, so are all of the staff members at the office.
