Felt very predatory. Said I need a filling while showing me four month old x rays. I asked if we could take more up to date X-rays before deciding and Dr. Santamaria said X-rays are very difficult. At that point, I turned to the X-ray machine and said isn’t it right there. And she said okay we can push off the filling. Felt like they were taking advantage of me as a young student. One star because they were unable or unwilling to help me remove just the top of a broken tooth and leave the rest for later implants... They basically told me no that they would not remove the broken shard that the whole tooth had to come out and that didn't work for my plans so I could not stay They might work for other people just not me
Dr. Santamaria is nothing short of impeccable, thoughtful, and courteous. I have never had a better dentist in my entire life. The quality of care that I receive at Warshauer & Santamaria is unparalleled. For as long as I live in the Boston area, I will only be seeing Dr. Santamaria. Not only is Dr. Santamaria wonderful, so are all of the staff members at the office. Just got my teeth cleaned from Lacey. She did a great job!!!
If you read the negative reviews you'll get a more accurate idea of how this dentist operates. I went to my first and only appointment and the hygienist knocked out my lingual bar which has been solid for years. Upon leaving they immediately had some document telling me that the price was going to be $600 to replace it. They also wanted to charge me for a cavity filling but would not show me the cavity and did not at any point show me the x-rays that they had taken, which has never happened to me at a dentist before.
