I am ecstatic with my experience at Dr. Billingtons office. He explained everything thoroughly using a combination of photos, diagrams, and models. He attentively listened to my concerns and gave me a treatment plan specific to my needs. Dr. Billington and his entire staff were friendly and I can't thank them enough!
Dr. Billington is an extremely talented and empathetic TMJ doctor. At a time where most doctors and oral surgeons rip you off for TMJ treatment, his practice is very different. Even though they are out of network for my dental and medical insurance, they try to get as much of the treatment costs covered by the insurance. Jessica, who is at the front desk at Dr. Billington's practice is extremely efficient and gets all paperwork sorted for the patients in minutes. Dr. Billington is AMAZING. Your first appointment isn't rushed. He takes the time to get acquainted with you. After the exam, he explains your specific issue, but makes sure you understand how the jaw works, using layman's terms, images and models. He also frequently checks in to see if you have questions. You walk out knowing a lot about the jaw and what he's specifically doing to try to treat it. The assistants/other staff are also awesome. I recently had my first appointment at this office, and it was honestly the best health-related appointment/experience I've had. The 3 people I interacted with during the visit were all really genuine and kind, and Dr. Billington was so knowledgeable and positive. He took time to explain everything and was very reassuring about my condition. In a time when so many health-related visits feel rushed and impersonal, this was the complete opposite.
I had the most wonderful experience. Dr. Billington knows his stuff. Jessica the practice admin and Ashley the Dental Assistant were so warm. It felt like home. Definitely give them warm hellos when you arrive!
