Dr. Dick and Dr. Fitzpatrick are two wonderful humans and I love the care that I received at Urban Paw. I recently went in because my little Bella just turned 18 a couple of months ago and had been struggling with kidney disease. I had to help her cross the rainbow bridge a week after my first visit and I knew I wanted to go back there because of the care I had the first time. I really can't say enough good things about this place! Everyone is incredibly kind and attentive. Our vet is Dr. Dick and he never fails to go above and beyond every time I bring my German Shepherd Toby in to see him - he is truly an amazing human and vet. Toby is sort of accident-prone, and both Dr. Dick and the wonderful staff behind him always give a warm welcome when we come in - they thoroughly assess, ask questions (while listening intently!), and show genuine care for my sweet and sensitive boy - I've never had to go... read more
I brought my pup, Sauce Boss, here after he started limping. We had a wonderful first visit with Dr. Fitzpatrick and Emily (the wonderful assistant with endless treats). Sauce Boss isn't a big fan of vet visits, but they took their time to make him feel comfortable and enjoy the appointment. The room we were placed in was large and comfortable, with a big orthopedic bed for our pup. Ultimately, we were delighted with our visit, and plan to continue seeing them in the future.
Incredible experience with Dr. Dick and team. I’m so grateful I found them. Dr. Dick was so thorough and spent a great deal of time with us discussing my kitty’s care and what could be going on. Some vets are so quick - in and out. He was so thoughtful and made sure every issue was addressed. Also my kitty was calmer than past vet. The techs were gentle and kind. Only small recommendation would be to get a wheelchair accessible door button from the elevator area into the waiting room.
Dr. Fitzpatrick and the staff at Urban Paw are caring, professional, and my dogs actually like going to vet! I have had nothing but a great experience, from minor concerns like a tic check, to having their teeth cleaned for a full dental exam and extractions; I have complete trust and confidence with Urban Paw caring for Wrigley and Geroge.
