Dr. Dick and Dr. Fitzpatrick are two wonderful humans and I love the care that I received at Urban Paw. I recently went in because my little Bella just turned 18 a couple of months ago and had been struggling with kidney disease. I had to help her cross the rainbow bridge a week after my first visit and I knew I wanted to go back there because of the care I had the first time. I brought my pup, Sauce Boss, here after he started limping. We had a wonderful first visit with Dr. Fitzpatrick and Emily (the wonderful assistant with endless treats). Sauce Boss isn't a big fan of vet visits, but they took their time to make him feel comfortable and enjoy the appointment. The room we were placed in was large and comfortable, with a big orthopedic bed for our pup. Ultimately, we were delighted with our visit, and plan to continue seeing them in the future.
Urban Paw Veterinary and Dr. Dick provided expert, informed, and deeply compassionate care for my aging dog, including taking a realistic approach to different treatments and what wasn't worth the expense. They guided me through incredibly difficult end-of-life decisions with honesty and empathy. Dr. Dick at Urban Paw and the lovely ladies who coordinated Bentley's care were super easy to work with and kept me updated the entire time. Bentley cracked his tooth up to the root on Christmas Eve and I was able to be seen within 30-min of making the appointment. They assessed his teeth and scheduled his extraction the following week. I was given treatment options and costs, and was able to make an educated decision based on what was best for me and my pup. I cannot say enough good things about the PT my dog received after suffering a spinal cord stroke. Urban Paw was able to get him in for a PT evaluation the same week and got him plugged in for therapy the following week. The two PTs, Beckie and Kaylen, truly pour their heart and souls into getting your pet on the road to recovery.
