The Auto Owners representatives of Underwood Insurance provided me excellent service. I called them the day I arrived from Georgia and requested coverage on a home that I was closing on in just a few hours. John, the agent, was thorough and quite diligent in reviewing the property and assessing precisely what I would need to begin coverage. I have always had excellent service from Auto Owners and found their agents knowledgeable and proficient. I would highly recommend the company and this particular agent and agency.
Chuck sold us a policy without explaining it had a one year commitment. He also failed to file a claim on our behalf for a claim that happened in May of 2022. Eventually filed it the middle of September 2022. When the adjustor called he asked while we waited so long to file our claim. We explained we filed it the day it happened and kept getting lip service by our so called agent. Would never recommend this agent for anything and we have been customers for over 20+ years!.
Very helpful from the start. Was looking for a local agency and quotes with multiple companies. I had been with State Farm for years and wanted to see more than one option. Was presented with options, quotes using different deductibles, and cost saving measures. At no point in time did I feel like the agency rep was getting impatient, or like I was being an inconvenience.
