I have been a customer of Ulster Savings Bank for close to 20 years. I stay with them because they are a local community bank that is really involved in the community. They are second to none when it comes to supporting non profits. I see them all over the place and I am proud to support a bank that cares so much about local issues. Bar none, the worst banking experience I've ever had. I recently bought a home and my attorney recommended going with Ulster because I needed to close quickly. Big mistake. They missed every date, in spite of my attorney, my home inspector, my real estate agent, and everyone else in the process delivering what they needed to deliver ahead of schedule. I am told that Ulster Savings bank has certain policies but when asked to see these polices in writing no one can submitt the papers. And I'm told it's not in written it's just our policy
