We hired Tourmaline for a major remodel of our house in Solana Beach. Its rare you find a contractor that can be relied upon for communication, expertise, reliability, and integrity from start to finish, and Tourmaline exceeded all of our expectations. We toured several homes from different builders before deciding, and this company’s craftsmanship stood out immediately. The materials and finishes felt more solid compared to others in the same price range. Communication slowed slightly during inspection week, but they still answered questions within a reasonable time. The finished result feels custom and comfortable rather than overly generic.
We worked with Tourmaline on a new build of two homes in La Jolla and the experience was great. The entire team is extremely professional, nice to work with, and they provide sound advice on key decisions. Their budgets are clear, and the work itself is high quality. My wife and I are the second owners of a home Tourmaline built in Point Loma. While we sat in our family room one rainy Saturday morning, we noticed that water started dripping through the ceiling.
