We worked with Tourmaline on a new build of two homes in La Jolla and the experience was great. The entire team is extremely professional, nice to work with, and they provide sound advice on key decisions. Their budgets are clear, and the work itself is high quality. My wife and I are the second owners of a home Tourmaline built in Point Loma. While we sat in our family room one rainy Saturday morning, we noticed that water started dripping through the ceiling. Above this ceiling is our deck outside of our Master Bedroom. The deck's flooring outside had developed some cracks and clearly the water proofing had failed. We purchased a home that had been completely rebuilt by Tourmaline. We have lived in the home for 4 years now. They did an outstanding job with the house! During our inspection, the inspector commented on how Tourmaline didn't just follow the building codes and they actually went beyond that. They are straight-forward and easy to work with. We won't leave our home anytime soon, but we would hesitate to work with them again in the future.
