Outstanding independent optician who can and will have replacement lenses for eyeglasses they did not originally provide. I needed new lenses for my rimless frames. I went to the original optical store only to be told they had been sold to another chain and lenses for eyeglasses they originally made could not be remade. I located The Eyeglass Place in Newington. My 7 year old daughter was having trouble with her vision. I shopped around and found The Eyeglass Place. Linea was friendly and very helpful. Her knowledge about quality and style helped us find the perfect pair of glasses my daughter now enjoys wearing. I highly recommend this place.
The Eyeglass Place of Newington is a very professional local business with friendly staff and good service. I recently went for an eye exam and new glasses and everyone who I encountered were very personable and helpful. Can’t say enough about The Eyeglass Place of Newington. Some of the most knowledgeable, helpful, and honest Opticians I have dealt with. I brought in a pair of glasses that I had purchased from an online shop and wasn’t seeing well out of. Linea went above and beyond to help me figure out the problem, and explain everything so that I could understand it. I went to all the eyeglass shops searching for fun, specifically glittery, frames for my first pair of glasses, to no avail. Then I went to The Eyeglass Place of Newington! All of the staff went above and beyond to help me choose the style that best fit my face. They pulled at least two dozen frames for me to try and were honest when something looked less than great and were immediately supportive and enthusiastic about my desire for a unique pair of glasses.
