Wonderful customer service. They were able to temporarily repair my ”unrepairable” frames which snapped at the bridge (and were purchased elsewhere), when no other shop ever bothered to attempt to try. Very refreshing to have experienced a business operate the good old fashioned way. These employees care about their customers don’t use “corporate liability” as an excuse not to help a person who walked in off the street. Great atmosphere from the moment you step foot inside. The employees are caring and insightful. They help educate you and explain everything with great care every step of the way. Would recommend to anyone looking for an eye care team. 10/10
Linea Shipley has done an outstanding job with my daughter’s glasses. Linea has fixed/repaired/replaced my daughter’s glasses several times in the past few months (after my daughter broke both her primary and backup glasses!). I am grateful for Linea’s (and The Eyeglass Place of Newington’s) speedy service and expertise.
Shout out to Linea! I came into the Eyeglass Place looking to fix my eyeglass after Walmart refused to help me. I dropped almost $350 for glasses about a year and a half ago at Walmart & just the other day as I was taking them off, the arm literally split in half. Such cheap "metal", if you can call it that! More outrageous is that while it should be an easy fix, Walmarts only interest was pushing me to buy another frame and lenses, instead of fixing the pair that cost me an entire week's paycheck! WTF Walmart!!
Outstanding independent optician who can and will have replacement lenses for eyeglasses they did not originally provide. I needed new lenses for my rimless frames. I went to the original optical store only to be told they had been sold to another chain and lenses for eyeglasses they originally made could not be remade. I located The Eyeglass Place in Newington.
