I could not say enough positive things about this place and the staff. Dr. Cook truly cares so much about giving the absolute best care. She goes above and beyond in so many ways each and every time we go in. Appointments are never rushed, and you are given the space to thoroughly talk through your pet’s health and ask any questions you have. We recently had to let our wonderful dog go, and the staff and Dr. Cook were so kind and compassionate, that it was just as we had hoped for our dog. It was very important to me that our girl was not stressed or scared and she wasn't. She was laid to rest peacefully and quietly. Her remains came back to us in a beautiful wooden urn, along with a clay paw print. The whole experience, while devastating and sad, was made easier by the thoughtful care that we, and our precious girl, received at the clinic.

We’ve been going to this vet clinic with our 3 dogs since we moved to Red Wing 4 years ago. Overall I don’t have any major complaints, staff has been great and prices seem pretty typical. My main reason for writing this review is because of a recent finding that I am a bit upset with. We took our dogs in for their annual exam and I found out one of our dogs has tested positive for Lyme disease for the last TWO YEARS and I was never told. The notes/results were in the system, but we were never called and informed. My poor dog... read more

The bluffs is a fantastic place to take your pets, they are very compassionate and do a fantastic job. Dr Cook has wonderful bedside manner and my dog adores her. We have my dachshund seen for acupuncture and he has gone from absolutely no rear leg movement, to well on his way to walking on his own again. Update: our little guy has been walking on his own now for the better part of year, thanks to accupuncture. Words can't express how grateful we are to Dr Cook and the Bluffs team.

Dr. Lahner has been my family's life savior, and I cannot say greater things about my experience with her during a time of desperation. After horrible surgery aftercare and neglect from another local vet, Dr. Lahner and the Bluffs Clinic Staff swept in and catered to my Ozzie to bring him back from an inch of death. Words will never describe how grateful I am for all the staff to stay open late to help me in such a time of need.
