We have a special needs dog who is very fearful. The vet techs and vets take extra time to ensure he has a positive experience and have gone above and beyond. Our dog has started to warm up to his favorite vet Jessica and today we were able to do a full hands on evaluation, shots AND she was able to dig in his ears. We are so grateful for the care we receive and continue to look forward to our visits.

My Great Dane injured his paw/toenail while we were at our cabin this weekend. Being not from the area, I turned to Google and called the first number I found. I am so glad it wound up being South 71 Veterinary Clinic. The person who took my phone call was an absolute sweetheart. She made me feel calm, did a great job basically front-line triaging the situation, and made me aware of potential costs. After a bad experience with a different clinic, I decided to make the trek to Willmar from St. Cloud to see what South 71 was like. It's quite the drive, but 100% worth it (even when my senior cat has to go in for her arthritis treatment, which takes all of five minutes). South 71's staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and I'm proud that this is my vet of choice. The clinic itself is clean, and welcoming. I have four cats, so one concern of mine was cost of services. NEVER AGAIN! I use to love south 71 I brought all my fur babies there up until yesterday, I brought my baby girl in there to be seen literally in tears and the receptionist was so ugly to me! The Doctor and nurse were so kind not her ! 300$ just to start a process ridiculous! And since when ?! I understand they have to make their money but damn where's your heart ? My baby girl was barely moving and she was showed no sympathy. Never again y'all never again !

Would never recommend this place. I simply wanted a nail trim for my dog. They told me it would be $40 then charged me $174.00. Do to same day appointment charged $58 then charged saying i was a new customer even though my dog has been there in the past charged another $30. When I asked about the charged the manger Jessica was very rude said she would talk to the owner but lied to me. Said owner doesn't come in until 5pm and they close at 5pm . This is very wrong and never once made this right.
