My Great Dane injured his paw/toenail while we were at our cabin this weekend. Being not from the area, I turned to Google and called the first number I found. I am so glad it wound up being South 71 Veterinary Clinic. The person who took my phone call was an absolute sweetheart. She made me feel calm, did a great job basically front-line triaging the situation, and made me aware of potential costs. We have a special needs dog who is very fearful. The vet techs and vets take extra time to ensure he has a positive experience and have gone above and beyond. Our dog has started to warm up to his favorite vet Jessica and today we were able to do a full hands on evaluation, shots AND she was able to dig in his ears. We are so grateful for the care we receive and continue to look forward to our visits.
After a bad experience with a different clinic, I decided to make the trek to Willmar from St. Cloud to see what South 71 was like. It's quite the drive, but 100% worth it (even when my senior cat has to go in for her arthritis treatment, which takes all of five minutes). The people are very nice and respectful and kind and they know what they are doing. They will let you know what to do about your pet and what kind of treatment s to give your pet s. We have been going to this vet for 9 years and they have been nothing but kind and helpful.
Such wonderful care my smokey cat got on a Late Saturday, she had burst scent glands and In serious pain, Cody took great care of her And did follow up the next day, even though They were not my primary clinic?
