We are so very sorry that we chose this place to have our son's memorial and cremation. The place had a very bad smell, Sandra ***** nor her staff performed the duties that were listed in our contract until we appeared in person the morning of our son's memorial, with candles, and carpet spray. There was no table as promised until we insisted on it being set up as we were promised. We paid for the entire service before the memorial service. It is sad to think in a time such as loosing a Loved one you could , or should be treated in such a manner, Sandra C**** really should ""BE CLOSED DOWN"" my Mother, and Fathers burial plans already made, and 'PAYED FOR' ! This review is so disappointing, especially since this lady had a bad understanding and did not understand. We did everything to please her plus upgraded her casket from a 20 ga tom18 ga. We used the makeup she brought to the funeral home. Tried to explain regular make up do not work on deceased people. Her mother lips were larger due to the mouth piece she died with in her mouth. BUYER BEWARE! This is an unethical business with possibly/probably illegal practices (there are specific laws for funeral homes and I don't know them all). I have no doubt some of these positive reviews are because they didn't realize they were being cheated. Shady, shady business and I am confident this was not a one-time thing. Who knows how many people have been squeezed for more cash when they are grieving? This is very disappointing. My reply would be my Covid19 charge is listed on all my package deal price list. All my services for packages are discounted. Maybe at the time I was not aware it was a Covid 19 case. When families call for pricing over the phone, I do not ask what the person died from. I just give standard prices. But once we pick up the deceased and we discover that he or she is Covid 19, we have to take he or she to a special facility for treatment, so yes that is a additional charge.
