I hired Rocking J Construction after being swindled by another contractor three years prior for a project that included removing a fireplace to replace with a window and removing my pergola and replacing with an outdoor patio cover. The prior contractor took a deposit and then never started the job, so finding a contractor that I could trust was imperative. After meeting Jay, I knew he was the one for the job. After I met with Jay and about to get started on the project, I discovered a slab leak. I decided to use him for the... read more
The team did an excellent job remodeling our bathroom! This was no small task, as we wanted a completely different layout. This required plumbing changes, an additional washer/dryer connection, and filling in a sunken tub. From inception to execution, Chris and Jason made sure we were heard and taken care of. Any hiccups along the way (small, minor things) were addressed immediately and with no hassle from all team members. It’s hard to believe they transformed our space in under 8 weeks. We could not be more pleased with the job that the Rocking J Construction crew did for us in our backyard transformation in late 2025/early 2026! We were lucky to see their work on a neighbor’s home and that neighbor shared the contact information for Jay of Rocking J Construction. He promptly visited ... read more
Just recently had some exterior work done (painting & repair of siding, removal of a ledge, and new gutters). Overall, the work was fine - we’re happy with the new gutters and the refinished wall looks good. The execution of the whole job leaves a lot to be desired - we found random spots of spray paint throughout our property (no where near siding) and also spots that weren’t completely painted (attached are examples of these). All to say, we’re mostly happy with how it’s turned out but should’ve spent more time overseeing ... read more
Both Jay and Jason did an outstanding job on my new garage build. I couldn't have gotten anyone better to tackle the task IMO. The building was fully custom designed from the ground up based on the lifts I was installing as well as the height of the ceiling. Fully insulated, air conditioned and heated as well. The crews Rocking J provided were top notch in their expertise. They knew exactly what they had to do and how to build it. No hiccups except for some rainy days!! Everyone was courteous and friendly and it refl... read more
