My partner and I visited Rev BBQ for dinner over the weekend for the first time and were pleasantly surprised overall. The ambiance of the dim lighting and clean environment made it easy to relax. Staff was attentive and kind to assist us in any questions we had or extra items we needed. We ordered the Sampler platter, 6 Carolina Vinegar wings, and a Brisket sandwich. All 3 exceeded our expectations! The meat was juicy, very tender, and so flavorful. I will definitely be coming back!

Disclosure: this was a takeout order that we picked up fresh and hot; we started eating it in under 10 minutes. I'll start by saying every side we got, which was most of them, was awesome. 10/10 sides. However, the BBQ was really disappointing. A few of us got ribs and they were all extremely tough - we had to rip them from the bones. The brisket, also ordered by several people, was also very (very) dry. Really disappointing. Really impressed. We had a group of 5 with true southern mouths - so lots of skepticism walking in the door. The collards were flavorful, fatty, & had some heat. The ribs fall off the bone & you can taste the smoke. Sauces are goooood. Is it the best BBQ you can find down south? Of course not! Is it better than the trendy bbq places down south? We stopped at The Outpost for a family lunch, and we say, “Move over Dino BBQ - there’s a new BBQ king in town!” The brisket was incredible, and we also highly recommend the poblano grits. Our toddler loved everything too.

Drove two hours just to try the food… OH IT WAS WORTHHHH IT. Excellent food, such a pretty place, drinks are amazing and the staff as well. 100/10.
