Unfortunately, there was a discrepancy between the price communicated at reception and the final amount charged the following morning. This caused confusion and negatively impacted our stay. Apart from this issue, everything else was generally fine. Pros: The rooms are spacious and nicely designed, the staff is very friendly, and the food is genuinely good. We also really enjoyed the wine tasting — especially the wine & chocolate pairing, which was original and delicious. It was our anniversary and they kindly gifted us a champagne, which we really appreciated. Cons: We had a reservation for the “spa” (water circuit + sauna), but there was no one there to receive us, provide towels/shoes, or explain how anything worked. We first discovered Piattelli Winery by chance back in 2014, and we were immediately marvelled by its beauty and charm. Recently, we had the opportunity to stay at the Piattelli Wine Resort, and the experience exceeded every expectation. It is a long drives but from the nearest airport! However, the Piattelli Wine Resort is a wonderful oasis among the vineyards of Cafayate. The food, service and friendliness of the staff were all very good. It is a great place to use as a base to visit the other wineries in the area.

Overall, Piatelli is a great wine resort for those looking to relax and enjoy fine food and wine. It offers a peaceful setting with excellent amenities, though there are a few areas that could be improved. Pros: - The welcome was exceptional.
