I am dissatisfied with the treatment I received from the general manager of Parkway Memorial Gardens. I requested my daughter's marker be refurbish in April of 2021. The previous manager started the process so the " ball was dropped" for a period of time. I reached out to the current new manager to request an update. She informed me they were behind and she incurred a lot of problems becoming the new manager. I am really shocked by the lack of caring by the staff at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The marker and my mother's crypt were paid for in 2017 in advance planning. In 2021, she passed, and I worked with Kacy to order the marker at the end of June. She assisted me and promised a picture once the marker was placed (as I live out of state), so that was great. My great grandmother is buried here, she died July 2020. As of July 2022 (2 years later) she still doesn’t have the year of death plate on her marker. It’s really sad that her Grave marker is incomplete, because she was such a perfectionist. I work in a funeral home and in this industry you must treat everyone like they are your own family.Kacy told me in early February she would have this handled by the end of February. Scott, the manager, was very understanding and very helpful in my time of need. The staff were also very great with the helping with the service, as my husband was given full military honors. The fact that the service was indoors enabled some of the people that wouldn't have been able to come to attend even though it was almost 100 degrees outside. My great grandmother passed away in July 2020, and her grave marker is still incomplete 2 years later… I understand that these things take time but 2 years?!? Absolutely ridiculous. My family has called and called trying to get this fixed and have got nothing but a run around. So unprofessional.
