Amazing old-fashioned candy store with any kind of candy you can imagine. Awesome ice cream selection too! The amaretto cherry was to die for with extremely nice staff! A must-see in Mount Airy!

My kids love to visit Opies and pick out their own candy and ice cream. It’s always a special treat to see what’s new in the store! Highly recommend due to quality of products and very friendly staff!
Stopped in here to look around but ended up getting ice cream cones! Delicious, loaded, and fairly priced. Young lady scooping for us was pleasant and efficient. Prices on everything compared to other shops we went in were much more reasonable. Great little place, decorated really cute too.
Opie's Candy Store is the cutest, friendliest shop with great prices!! My family loved visiting there and we enjoyed all of the ol' fashioned candy. 🥰
