I had a wonderful experience with OGA for gynecological services as well as OB services. I used OGA for both my pregnancies, with most interaction taking place with the midwives. I only have positive things to say about the midwives at OGA. I birthed both my children at Northwest Porter and both experiences were very positive. I highly recommend working with OGA!

First time mom here and I am so happy that I chose this center for my pregnancy and for the birth of my daughter. It was the most amazing birth experience I could have asked for. Val was the midwife that helped deliver my baby girl and she is awesome. All of the nurses, lactation specialists, and doctors that assisted in my delivery and postpartum recovery were absolutely fantastic! Everyone was so supportive, informative, and helpful beyond words. Thank you all so much again!

I've been a patient of Dr. Murphy for over a decade. I just had my 2nd IUD placed. The first time was one of the most painful experiences I've been through. Explained my reservations about trying again, they offered laughing gas for me today, which I gladly paid out of pocket for. It made everything so much easier on me and hopefully the staff too. Very thankful this time went so smoothly.

First this post has nothing to do with Dr. Short she is absolutely amazing and is the only good thing left about this place. Wish I could give her 5 stars and only rate Northshore with the 1. I didn't want to write anything bad, but feel like others should be warned. If you have a baby and are self pay beware. I had been paying $145 every visit because I was self pay and was under the impression that was all I was to pay. I started being a patient at OGA in 2023 and then was with them throughout my pregnancy in 2024 and slowly watched the decline of patient care while Northshore was merging with them. My midwife was amazing with the birth of my child in October 2024. But as of recently I had my first ever miscarriage early in my pregnancy but something I have never experienced before in September 2025.
