Update September 2024 Here in Santa Fe, NM, for our annual visit to attend the Wine and Chili Fiesta. A separate review of the fiesta will be posted shortly. THE best store on the Santa Fe plaza. We shopped there every day of our visit :) friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful experience and found a one of a kind vintage belt that I’m OBSESSED with. Go! You won’t be disappointed!
I love this store and wanted to purchase a small gift for a friend. When I asked the sales lady about the item I wanted she appeared disturbed by me asking her about the item I wanted. She was with a customer who spent a good 30 minutes looking at various pieces of jewelry. When I left there still wasn't a transaction. But there was no one else to help me at that point. Ultimately someone did help me but I was bothered by the sales lady's unfriendly attitude. I did purchase the gift I wanted for a friend.
Recently I walked into Malone for the first time with no intention to purchase anything. Mitzi was extremely kind to give me a tour of the store and answered some questions I had. Then I saw a Kewa/Santo Domingo necklace I had to have! Lovely service and incredible selection of Native jewelry and Navajo rugs.
