No one wants to be in need of a funeral home. My sister passed away unexpectedly and we had no idea what to do. We called Lewis Funeral Chapel and spoke to James. He took care of us. He was kind and thoughtful and incredibly accomodating. There was no pressure to sell us super expensive services. In fact, i was surprised at how reasonable the costs were. For most the part everything went smoothly and the staff, especially the director Angie and Lynn and the help during those challenging times. The only item that would have made it better would have been them offering to reimburse us for the transport mat we let them take when they picked her up on the day she passed. We were attempting to retrieve the mat when they told us don't worry, we will bring it back. The staff was very compassionate and caring while helping me with my dads arrangements. They kept me informed on the status of his cremation and because my dad was a veteran they gave me a nice quality folded American flag. They also helped with all my questions and concerns about burial options. They also offer turning your loved ones remains in to glass art.
