Dr. Franklin did great with my shoulder. He listened to my concerns and fixed my tore bicep. He was very easy to talk to and has a great bed side manner. Anyone who mentions shoulder issues I recommend Dr. Franklin.
Dr. Franklin is a very good Dr. and Surgeon. He has amazing bed side manner and is very understanding.
Went to Dr. Franklin after my cute little mare bolted at the gallop and bucked like a rodeo horse until I (involuntarily) dismounted. Rotator cuff and labrum issues. I asked Dr Franklin to ' . . .duct tape me together . . . ' so I could get to my upcoming horse show. ;-) He gave me a (literally) painless steroid shot in the joint and advised physical therapy. He's above competent, very personable and gave me no lecture - even though I expected him to - about going to a horse show so soon after the injury! By the way,... read more
Dr. Franklin took great care of our son. Surgery went well and after care was great. Very personable and easy to talk to. Highly recommend him!
It has been 6 pain free months since Dr Don Franklin did knee surgery on me for a torn meniscus. I was running 8 days after surgery and have run 5 ultras since surgery. Dr Franklin is good at what he does and can take care of your orthopedic needs.
My experience was good and had knee surgery done by Donald Franklin. Very personal and great bedside manner. Would recommend him for all your needs.
We seen Dr. Franklin for our visit and subsequent procedure as well as all follow ups. Immediately we liked his bedside manners, and his overall demeanor is just awesome!! He explained every step of the process from start to finish and showed empathy and compassion. He asked us numerous times if we had any questions or concerns and if we did he took the time to sit down and explain what was happening. Today was our final visit with him and when we left the office my son said how much he really liked Doc Franklin. Great job D... read more
Knox Orthopaedics is a great place to go should you need an orthopedic. Several months ago I slipped and shattered my ankle. When I went to the ER the nurses and doctors there thought I may lose my foot. Dr. Franklin III came and looked at the x-ray's and decided to see if he could operate and save my foot. He operated and reconstructed my ankle by putting in 2 plates and several screws and pins. Throughout my recovery he made sure that everything looked good with x-rays and he also made sure that I was aware that I may not... read more
Upon reading the reviews, you can clearly see how much of an asset Dr. Franklin is to the community and Knox orthopaedics. He cares for his patients, friendly to those he is around, and is a straight forward person- respectfully. He repaired my 10-year-old bucket handle meniscus and grafted my ACL from my quad. He always explained everything thoroughly, as well as gave visual aid, and was very patient during our appointments. I always recommend him to those who ask and even those who don’t and are need of help. Thanks for ... read more
