This was definitely a surprise at a location where you would not be expecting!! Pat is a great host and manages the place very well and is very passionate about.. definitely would Suggest for a family or friends!! Obviously team building for corporate events is a given … but would suggest this for a group as well.
We had a great time doing the Sea Voyage room! The theme and props were fun and creative, and the clues were cleverly designed. The puzzles took place in 2 rooms (you had to solve several in order to unlock the second room). The ending was really well done and surprised us all. We have done escape rooms at 3 other locations and I think this was our favorite one. We look forward to coming back!
We decided on Moriarty’s Parlor, while looking to do something fun one evening. We had 4 adult family members and two friends. Each of us used our specific skills to tackle the thought provoking puzzles within the room. Three of us had never done an escape room before - I was amazed at how the clues were found. The owner was so nice and we’d definitely recommend. We escaped! - with 8:36 remaining! But it’s not easy!
We really enjoyed industrial escape rooms. We did the pirate one and it was creative and fun. We have done many escape rooms and live in Chicago and this one has been the best we have done. We hope to come back again and try the Sherlock Holmes one. I never leave reviews but my daughter who is 17 really agreed we should leave one. I even accidentally booked on the wrong day and they accommodated us that same night. Definitely highly recommend.
Although the room was challenging, Pat was so friendly, helpful and extra patient, which aided in our experience. Our family had a great time and would highly recommend this escape room to others!! Pat kindly gave us a sneak peek at the other rooms and each looked to be a great time.
