Hoodsport coffee was ok, although the service was the best part. This place has tons of great reviews and is in and great location. The shop itself has an OK layout although could use some updates. They have seating inside with some historical pictures and photos on the walls which was nice. It was the winter when we went, so we didn’t buy any ice cream, but if we went back again in the summer, we would totally buy some. Hoodsport Coffee is a new family trip tradition. Here’s an honest review from a Texas traveler: -Good food and coffee at very reasonable prices. Far more reasonably priced than all the other spots I’ve visited this trip (Tacoma, Gig Harbor, and many others) -good service: staff was young, friendly, quick and helpful at every step. -we went on a Monday mid-morning. The BEST lavender-lemon ice cream! The rest of the food and drinks were good too. Cute little shop - stayed regularly busy the whole time we were there, but never got loud or over crowded. Perfect little quick-stop.
It doesn’t get much better than homemade ice cream. And this is pretty close to homemade. I’ve been here several times, and usually get coffee and ice cream. Only once, when it was super jampacked on a very busy weekend due to an event happening in Hoodsport, did I have to wait a rather long time.
So we decided to stop for coffee while traveling hwy 101 and this was our choice. I'm so glad we did because after entering the atmosphere was so welcoming we decided to dine in. After our cashier explained their sandwiches, we also decided to get some and some cookies. It was a rainy evening and seemed fitting to enjoy out coffee and sandwiches sitting by the window. This was a great experience, and I recommended anyone traveling hwy 101 to make a pitstop here :)
