We stopped here, at Hoodsport Coffee Company, while on vacation! I would definitely recommend visiting here! It was a neat, very original little coffee shop, with antique, and friendly atmosphere! I got a delicious berry cheesecake ice cream cup, and my husband got the salted caramel vanilla, which I also tasted, and was equally delicious!
I'm not a big fan of ice cream but this place has the best ice cream choices! My pick was the non-dairy, made from coconut milk vanilla chocolate chunk! It was delicious 😋
So we decided to stop for coffee while traveling hwy 101 and this was our choice. I'm so glad we did because after entering the atmosphere was so welcoming we decided to dine in. After our cashier explained their sandwiches, we also decided to get some and some cookies. It was a rainy evening and seemed fitting to enjoy out coffee and sandwiches sitting by the window. This was a great experience, and I recommended anyone traveling hwy 101 to make a pitstop here :)
Overpriced cafeteria food. I assume people come here for coffee and ice cream. Just skip the lunch menu. I got a "bowl" of chili and a side salad for 11.25 plus tax, which was a pretty small portion and tasted like canned (just meat and beans, nothing special), and no toppings. The salad was a handful of plain mixed greens with a small cup of sunflower seeds and cheap dressing. My favorite place to stop after a hike close by. In the mornings they have great coffee and pastries and after a day out they have the best ice cream options. I love the vibe inside and it is always busy when I am there. I love their recommendations if you do not know what you want.
