Excellent and honest home builder. My home was built in the beginning of winter but we had an unusually warm November and they got the basement in much faster than expected. Hagen offered to refund me some of the home price, but we settled on finishing a room and bath in the named instead. Keep in mind I would've never known or questioned this. We recommend Hagen Construction anytime we hear someone is looking for a new home. We are currently building our second home with them! Our first build is beautiful and we didn't hesitate to go directly to Mike Hagen when we were ready to build again. His prices are more than fair (better than every other option we looked at), his process is the easiest of any we looked at because he offers an option for builder held construction loans. I've known Mike Hagen, many years. The first house I bought was a spec home. He allowed us to pick flooring, colors, cabinets and a few other things as the build was still taking place. We lived in that home over 9 years and then had Hagen Construction build us another home. We downsized on square footage, but put the house on more acreage. Mike and his team were wonderful to work with for our home build. They kept us up to speed, helped us stick to our budget, and made the process as smooth as possible. Even when things come up a year later they are happy to help us out. We’d definitely build with him again and would recommend him to others
