We had three Families First workers during our almost 3 year experience with them. Only the 2nd worker truly cared about working towards reunifying our family. The other two would simply do whatever DHS wanted and DHS never worked towards reunification. The 1st and 3rd workers both were very rude and condescending towards us. I think that the legislators should take a close look before they renew any contracts with Families First.

Family first is a jock! My boyfriend is dealing with them he’s got a kid from previous marriage, they are trying to bring him closer to his Dad and keep him safe from his dad.. his Mother and him destroyed my boyfriend’s life and they are trying to destroy our kids life.. I've been able to have a few different workers that have really touched my heart and made huge impact in my life..... Wish I could get another worker that I feel comfortable with and felt like wanted to work with me and my case.... I currently am working with Katrina Miller and personally I feel she is and has been unprofessional towards me a few times... Which has made my case a bit difficult to work on with her. I have worked as an Administrative Assistant for Families First for a little over 7 years now. I am very proud of all the people I work with, from the ones that are working with the families, supervisors and the people that work in the office. Such unbelievable team work!!! Helping families is our number one goal and we all work very hard to keep this goal.

An employee came toy home with a DHS worker to confront me about things I've never said and that they didn't have proof of. Yet alone, when I've asked about the timeframe of the weekly and monthly visit to our home, they were rude and didn't help at all. They threatened me with being brought to court instead of answering my questions. My family isn't under investigation but yet they've treated me like a criminal. IveI never been rude to them.
