Ive been going there for years and love all the doctors. They have alwasy took good care of my pets and always available. You cant say that about other clinics. Im sticking with EVC
I do agree that their prices are high, however I have been a customer for years, they can always get me in. I have had to have a pet put to sleep. they were very compasionate and caring. I feel my pets have always gotten wonderful care.
My family started using this vet in 2002 when we first moved to the UP. At that time it was a good vets office with friendly employees. That changed, I dont know what happened but I now take my 3 dogs 65 miles north to Bay Shore vet in Marquette. EVC has extremely high prices, something I would be willing to over look if they were friendly and efficient, sadly they are not. I agree with the other comments, I called to try and get a stray cat fixed before placement. I needed one stop shopping, first they wanted an initial visit (\$), then shots(\$) then return for spay/neuter (\$). The cat was somewhat wild and not something I wanted loaded twice or more into a cat carrier, take off work to go do etc. They more or less lectured me over the phone about all the testing needed and they cant do wilder cats etc. I just need the cat fixed, checked for leukemia, rabies shot and move on. Have been going to them for years and am now sad to say im looking for a new vet. As this one has now become all about money and not about your pet.They are rude an uncareing. And their prices constantly change very sad to see them go this way as they were good vets once
all they want is your money and care too much about that. dont care much for the animals. dont smile alot.
While it is understood that businesses are run to make money, this one seems more interested in revenue than animal welfare.
