The intake personnel were nice and professional. The visit with Dr. Paul Engstrom was quick and to the point. Hubby under eyes were swollen with no relief from the eye drops. Come to find out he has a stye and will require a very minor surgical ✂️🙀😬. We'll update tomorrow. 06.30.21 We have visited three time while living here in Roswell NM, with Dr. Engstrom and have never had to wait over 10 mins. I was absolutely impressed with Dr.Engstrom. My son has an autoimmune disorder that affects his eyes and he needs tests and treatment, but he hates things touching his eye (A la Rachel Green from Friends) and he just magically managed to do drops and a glaucoma test despite my son’s panic. Update: By the end of the day everything had been straightened out and a new appointment set. Heather and her associates went out of their way to correct the problems. I am thankful for their efforts and am anxiously awaiting my appointment. Original issue below: Office staff was very nice but someone or somehow they did not get my insurance approval and they informed me 15 minutes before I am supposed to be at the hospital that is 70 miles from my house. I went and saw Dr Engstrom back in October and I got to say he's the best eye doctor I have ever been to since I lived in Kansas and the staff was very polite and friendly Dr. Engstrom told me since I was having problems when I told him with my eyes itching all the time that I needed to get some allergy eye drops. The eye doctor here in Clovis didn't even care that much about me and my eyes he was in the room for like 5 minutes and that was it he really didn't even examine my eyes. Dr Engstrom is an amazing and down to earth doctor. I went to him after going to a “specialist” in El Paso that couldn’t even diagnose me but still charged me $600.00 out of pocket just to tell me he didn’t know what was wrong with me. Dr Engstrom diagnosed me immediately and took the time to explain everything to me in detail. I highly recommend his practice, we’re lucky to have him in our area of the state.
