I am so appreciative of Dr Smith. First, I love the way my teeth feel every they are cleaned. Second I had a crown last year and I am thankful that Dr Smith gave me a first-rate result, knowing that I had a second-rate insurance. I am embarrassed Dr. Smith had to fight my insurance to get coverage for the crown. It took ten months for my insurance to cover my crown. Dr Smith was so quick to get me in when I had a horrible toothache. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and so is Dr Smith. I've been to several Dentists because I need a fair amount of work done, but I've struggled to find a Dentist that will make a plan w me about repairing my teeth and Dr Smith did exactly that! I'm very much looking forward to working with Dr Smith and his office team. I would absolutely recommend his office:)
Like many of the other review mentioned, the staff do a great job helping your feel welcome! However, I felt like the quality of care could have been improved significantly. I went in for x-rays and a general cleaning and they didn't take the time to show me the x-ray they just looked it over and said everything was good. It wouls have been nice to have it better explained. They did not address the concerns I came in with. Dr. Smith was rough on my gums when scraping my teeth. I had a tooth that had fallen apart and needed work done on it. Dr. Smith told me I might have to have a root canal done. The entire process was nearly totally pain free. I felt the cost of the procedure without my having dental insurance was good and probably cheaper than if it had been done elsewhere.
aggressive billing-my senior mother was charged on two instances once for what the insurance wouldn't cover. TWICE by a debt collector which we all know buy the debt from practitioners. and to top it off there was no debt to be had!, because medicaid insurance paid it down the month's ahead. the dental work was done here GAVE a faulty cavity filling which had to be pulled later. the drill cracked the root during initial procedure. the experience was overall, consumed my elderly mother's bank account. predatory behavior monet... read more
