Walking into Ace hardware in Deerfield Beach is like walking into my old hardware store in Jersey, The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable with any questions that you toss at them. Bill and Frank are amazing to deal with, the minute you walk in a big hello and a handshake.They appreciate each client that they serve. Frank is the worse retail employee I have ever encounter in my life. I believe he is the owner/operator of the franchise! The man refused to entertain the qualification of my Stihl tools under the warranty program on several occassions. After provoking an arguement with me, he requested his hired security guard to escort me to the front door and then the idiot came out of the store to call me an ass to my face. I have read several others reviews of the same nature. The man is a lunatic. He should read all the 1 Star Yelp R... read more

Store service clerk sold me a tool, to cut my storage lock, that was impossible to use by a petite lady, you need to be like a Hulk to use it, or else the tool was defective. Man by name Dan was very aggressive and nasty saying “I will not take it back or exchange it!” After we shopped there for years will not be coming back...don’t have to.., Shoppers be aware.
The young man, who obviously didn’t know what he was doing, sold me a tool to cut my storage lock. That tool did not work at all, you need a superman to use it, not 125lb lady. So I brought it back to exchange for another product, but the man by name Dan would not take it back!!! Lousy service, nowhere on the receipt it says that the store will not make an exchange!!!! Not coming back ever, don’t have to... Be aware!
Rude « manager » or owner! Went there today to get oil, a trimmer and chains for my Stihl chainsaw. Inquiring about 12 inch chains for my saw I am guessing the manager first tried to help but became quickly arrogant and rude - his uneducated statement was that one can’t mount a 12 inch guide bar on a MS170, then asking me wether I have been listening when I asked him for a 14 inch bar and chain combination for my saw.
