I've been renting here almost a year now and while no place you rent is ever perfect I will say for the money I can only complain about one thing when they laid the linoleum down it has some ridges and dips in it . It doesn't really bother me much just don't want to be charged on move out. Wish it had a washer dryer hook up but I can't beat the price. I would've given 5 stars but the linoleum thing. I’m extremely frustrated with being charged $45 per person ($90 total) when this situation should have been obvious. My paycheck clearly reflects that I returned to my other jobs, and my temp job was no longer active—even though I had it for about a month. There should have been no assumption or reason to continue charging me at that rate. On top of that, my partner is not even working, so being charged for both of us makes no sense. These people are a joke !!! They will take your application fee will never run a check on you but find anyway to deny the application. I paid my application fee just for her to say my income was unverifiable I gave them legit bank statements. I own my own business which was started this year so tax returns was something I couldn’t provide. Her response to my bank statements was anyone could have made those deposits into your account. Do not waste your time with these people. The lady took my application fee, made me put my daughter on the lease who does not live with me and charged me for that too. Then when she introduced me to the owner, he asked the most racist, stereotypical thing he could which was "are you going to have men running in and out all times of night? How many kids?" An awesome company to rent from!! We never had an issue from the owners or employees with David McDonald Rentals. Ms. Anna was such a delight to work with throughout our year lease with them. Great people giving others a comfortable home to live and grow in. If we decide to move back, I’ll be giving them a call. Thank you for your hard work and guidance throughout our renting process. True rockstars!
