This place is wonderful! My father-in-law wasn't sure that he wanted to leave his own home when he could not live in his own any longer. However, he decided to give Cordia a try. He loves it there! The rooms are nice, just the right size for him. He is safe there and has just enough independence for his wishes and needs. The staff are friendly, professional, and very helpful. There are a good variety of activities for him to participate in. I wholeheartedly recommend Cordia.

My dad has been at Cordia for 18 months. He has been content there from day one. The campus is perfect for him as he prefers to be outside as often as the weather permits. The dining room provides restaurant style service with several entrees and sides available for each meal. The meals are excellent!! I look forward to the times I'm able to have dinner with Dad at Cordia. The staff is phenomenal! Their care and concern is such that we feel like we have aquired a few more siblings to help us keep Dad safe and healthy.

I agree with Sue Malone. . Cordia is wonderful for independent living. However, as one ages and faces visual and cognitive deficits, Cordia staff fail to recognize and meet even the basic needs. Cordia does not really provide “assisted living.” There is a dire lack of appropriate activities ( no schedule for Cordia Living Plus residents) and the care is very inconsistent. I can’t say how many times my mom’s residence reeked of spoiled food and unemptied trash. I frequently wrote notes to staff to remind them to take my mom t... read more

There are so many things that I like about living at Cordia. I think that they have an amazing staff that makes you feel welcome and cared for. There is so much to be grateful for - especially the companionship of the other residents that I get to associate with. We have an active and social community here. It is a great experience for me to live independently at the age of 90 in such wonderful, loving surroundings. I am very active in Cordia’s exercise program - Terri the personal trainer is amazing - which has helped me ke... read more

My mother moved to Cordia from New York to be near me but have her own independent life. Cordia has proven to be the perfect place. From the food to the activities to the entire staff, everything has been great and made my mother's transition both smooth and happy. My only complaint is that when I want to see my mother, she's too busy with all the activities Cordia has to offer!
