We've had two children attend Cherokee Christian School and have had a phenomenal experience. The teachers and staff care deeply about both the education and spiritual formation of their students. Our children have made lifelong friendships and built wonderful relationships. We have enjoyed watching our kids participate in various extracurricular activities and athletics. We love CCS! It is so refreshing to find a school that is unapologetic about teaching God’s Word as the definitive standard. The staff, faculty, and coaches truly care about the students and desire to help them become great citizens. I’m excited to see them roll out a new more classical curriculum in the coming years, and I think the students will greatly benefit from all the time and effort the staff has put into its development!
I attended this school in 7th and 8th grade while my brothers were in high school. My experience was horrible; the teachers tried to portray Christianity, but it was the most judgmental school I’ve ever encountered. They made false accusations against my brother for plagiarizing an essay, but when he transferred to another school, it was proven he had done nothing wrong. We have had a wonderful experience at CCS with our child entering since 1st grade. The staff and teachers communicate with us. We are engaged in the education of our child. The biblically based foundation of the school aligns with our core beliefs. I love that they have grades up to 12th and the test scores have been impressive. We have every confidence that our child will excel in both her growth academically and socially at Cherokee Christian.
We are thankful for the opportunity to have experienced CCS. We hope that admin really searches deep their passion and desire for serving kids and the Lord. The Holy Spirit acts through you to serve His flock and my God is very merciful and loving. We hope that families in the future have a more uplifting and non-religious experience than what we did.
