We are so blessed to have chosen Cherokee Christian School for our daughter. She loves her school as well. The level of education is incredible and the school fosters a family atmosphere at the same time a place for academic excellence. Addendum: I just noticed the review posted before my review and I can not disagree more after knowing the school, the teachers, the staff and the parents of many kids who attend . As a person of color, we have been welcomed from the first day we stepped inside the school. And as a devout bor... read more

We have four children, two of which have already graduated from CCS, and have had them here since Kindergarten. CCS has strong academics, preparing them well for college, loving/nurturing teachers, and a strong Christian ethic that pours into the students, giving them a good foundation for life. They are our partners in this regard; encouraging and building on what we do at home. They also have a good sports program that gives students the opportunity to play multiple sports.

We have one son in second grade and another that is in the PreK program. So while we have only been attending CCS for 3 years now, we have seen amazing things happening in our boys. The administration is amazing and want to support parents as they navigate parenting. Both of our boys struggled for the first month and the teachers and staff helped so much along the way. I get a response within an hour from teachers or staff. I can call the school and they know who I am from my name and which students are mine. I can walk in t... read more

Not only is this school not inclusive to people of color, their extreme Christian beliefs proved to be detrimental to the people I know that attended this school. I understand that everyone has their beliefs, that is fine, but the way in which this school disapproves of anything that is unaligned with their beliefs is disgusting! Without being too crass and to say the least, I don’t believe that they are teaching these students how to survive in the real world! These students will not be able to stay in this very close-mind... read more

We have been a part of the CCS family since my littles were in kinder and first grade. I now have a 6th and 4th grader. The way the school has merged and changed over time is amazing. I have to say they are inclusive of all backgrounds and diversities. They focus on the mission of the school, and never sway from instilling and working with the best qualities in each and every child. The one on one attention each child receives is like no other. I love the new setup this year where 4th-6th have gained time to connect and form... read more
