Carter Irrigation installed my system and has maintained it as well for the last few years (scheduled checks and winterizations and repairs by damage caused by others). The system itself has performed flawlessly, and the company is always very responsive to my requests for any adjustments/modifications to the system I may make of them. We've used Carter for 4 years. Our irrigation system is old (30 yrs old) and large with 20 zones. It was challenging but Carter has fixed all the problems and I have a reliable working irrigation system.

I generally don't do this, but we just had a new irrigation system put in by Carter and it was an extremely bad experience. The initial sales process went pretty well. We had to replace a really old system that was in bad shape, so I don't believe they oversold me on a new one, and the price wasn't bad, so upfront it all seemed OK. I can't talk about their service but their responsiveness. I contact them initially end of April 2025. A technician visited my place to evaluate the job, and then I had to follow up twice to get a quote, that finally came 2 weeks later (May 3). I followed up via email to schedule the service, and didn't hear from them until May 28th. Fast forward to July 23—almost three months after my initial contact—and I finally received an email stating that the service is being scheduled for next week. The technician was lovely. Jessica needs to improve on her customer service skills. We inherited a system from this company but if I were choosing to install....I would not choose this company based on Jessica's poor customer service.
