Carter Irrigation installed my system and has maintained it as well for the last few years (scheduled checks and winterizations and repairs by damage caused by others). I generally don't do this, but we just had a new irrigation system put in by Carter and it was an extremely bad experience. The initial sales process went pretty well. We had to replace a really old system that was in bad shape, so I don't believe they oversold me on a new one, and the price wasn't bad, so upfront it all seemed OK. I can't talk about their service but their responsiveness. I contact them initially end of April 2025. A technician visited my place to evaluate the job, and then I had to follow up twice to get a quote, that finally came 2 weeks later (May 3). I followed up via email to schedule the service, and didn't hear from them until May 28th. Fast forward to July 23—almost three months after my initial contact—and I finally received an email stating that the service is being scheduled for next week. The technician was lovely. Jessica needs to improve on her customer service skills. We inherited a system from this company but if I were choosing to install....I would not choose this company based on Jessica's poor customer service.
