I love that this location of Branca is in a central spot right across the street from Parcel 5, a public event space in Rochester. I like the modern and upscale casual feel of the restaurant and appreciated how spacious it was. We ordered a few appetizers and main dishes, all of which were delicious. Nice restaurant in good location in downtown Rochester. Food quality was mid-range type. Service was spotty, lot of wait time in between. A bit overpriced for what it offers.
My wife and I met friends here for dinner. Not our 1st time, not our last either! I highly recommend trying the grilled Octopus 🐙 I had the Ribeye, my wife always orders the pizza! Great evening, super nice staff all around.
We tried Branca a couple of months ago when they still had the summer menu and we totally loved it. Last week we went there for dinner on a Saturday night and we had an amazing time too! The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. We were a little worried about the busy time we were going but they really managed so well! I seriously loved this hip and pretty little spot. We came in last minute with no reservation and were able to sit at the bar. Service from the bartender was excellent, as were the cocktails, the wine selection, and the truly excellent food. Would love to come back and definitely want to check out their sister restaurant that's opening across the way. Manager checked in on us a couple of times as well.
