Our experience with Berkeley Heating & Cooling came in the middle of a family medical crisis. Why does that matter? Todd was so patient and compassionate as i fought tears while trying to find a contractor to help us get heat in Rochester....while I was in Michigan. In a nutshell, He and his staff are professional, skilled, efficient, and produce excellent results with their work. Our furnace has been running like clock work for over a month.
I initially called him requesting an install of a specific furnace based on advice from some pros elsewhere. But something didn't feel quite right about the choice in my gut . The professionals at Berkeley took the time to research the concern I had. In the end, Todd suggested a much better furnace with only a very slight increase in cost, all things considered, and with a pronounced increase in warranty and craftsmanship. He explained his sources and their reasoning, as he knew it mattered to me and that my contractor father would appreciate knowing why we switched our choice. He could have just said said, "yep, the __unnamed brand__ you would like is good."
Todd and his team bent over backwards to help us and we are so grateful! The work was done amazingly quickly! And my husband, not certified to install, but a functional engineer, was impressed with their work. They were not cutting corners, even though their day had become longer than planned and they all wanted to go home. They do their jobs well and they work as a team. In fact, one of the men was working despite having broken his leg after a tree trimming incident. These guys must be from Paul Bunyan's stock--they work hard and they do their job with excellence.
The Minnesotan in me always appreciates companies that care for their clients (it's a "Minnesota Nice" thing) and these guys have it down! Thank you so much, Berkeley Heating and Cooling, for helping my family have heat again. We are grateful for all you have done for us.

We are in total comfort thanks to Berkeley Heating and Cooling. You don't sense any air movement throughout the house but I'm always warm and comfortable.
