The Frederick Barter Funeral Home was purchased by Edward Donnan in 1969 and the two merged in 1975 and were located at 1 North Melcher Street in Johnstown. Mr. Donnan continued to assist with funeral services sharing his more than 40 years of experience until his passing on April 8, 2015.

Barter & Donnan Funeral Home was very receptive to all our needs for our mother . With the recent Covid virus it changed many plans put into place for our prearrangement. They were flexible and happy to assist. A very caring business.
