We take our well-loved pug to Dr. Burr. He is our third Vet we've had in I.F. The other two had poor to middling bedside manner but Dr. Burr's bedside manner both for the pet and people was great. He is pleasant and pretty gentle. He has good hours and both times that I have had a bit of an urgent need for our dog, he has always been able to work us in on the same day. Dr Burr is amazing. I had a dog that was paralized from a herniated disc. Dr. Burr knew exactly what to check for and where to send me. I had a dog with an ear infection and he was very thorough at treating it. My parents had the same issue with their dog (both were shi tzus) they had taken it to a different vet several times and weren't having any success. I told them about Dr. Burr and they switched vets. I just wanted to welcome to our area the newest Vet in town. I have been to the Ammon Vet Hospital a few times and eacha nd every time was treated with compassion and kindness from eacha nd every staff member I met. They made you feel like family from the time I walked into the door until the time i left. I am very impressed. I will continue to be a loyal customer to their facility.
I would not recommend this vet for two reasons. They missed a crucial diagnosis that cost our pet her life and when I voiced this on their Facebook page, rather than own it or reach out to me or anything that showed accountability, ethics or responsibility, they hid the option that allowed users to leave their feedback which also deleted my testimony.
