Al and Justin are the best! Al stuck by us through town meetings and walked me through every step of the way. We had a lot of custom carpentry in our new build and it is amazing!! Al is the only carpenter that told us the hard truth, that we should rebuild, all the other carpenters I called for advice or quotes ghosted me when they saw my almost 200 year-old house. I knew as soon as we decided to build that I wanted Al and his team to be the ones to do the job! They’ve had a great reputation for providing quality work for years and knowing exactly what I wanted for our home, I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else. I have waited one year to post my review on my new construction home build completed by Al Gamache & Son, so that I could give an accurate review of all phases of the project. My husband and I first started this project in the summer of 2019, he helped me find someone to draw up plan designs, helped pull permits for demo of the exsisting house, listened to all my complaining while I dealt with Conservation Committee issues (all of this before I ever even signed a contract with him to build my home). The work done on my house was exceptional. Problems encountered were handled properly and everything was completed perfectly. Recent visitors to our house mentioned the quality of the workmanship and how well everything was put together. I would enthusiastically recommend Al for any carpentry or building project.
Al and his crew did 2 jobs for us. First one was a rush and they were there to do it and got it done before the insurance deadline. The second job I didn't expect to get done before holidays but Al and his crew did a great job and both the slider and back door were installed way before the holidays. Al and his crew are very professional, clean and fast. I would recommend him to anyone that needs work done
